We're continuing our six-part series exploring the foundational strategies we use to achieve our mission to eradicate physical and spiritual poverty across the globe. In this post we'll take a look at strategy number four: Giving together.

Understanding the All Access Fund Strategy

All Access was founded with a singular mission: to ensure everyone has access to the Gospel and the means of physical well-being. To achieve this, we’ve developed a comprehensive strategy based on six core steps. The first three steps involve analyzing data to pinpoint areas of the greatest need, consulting experts to translate data into actionable insights, and evaluating organizations to ensure they meet our stringent criteria for high-impact programs. These steps form the foundation of our approach, ensuring we focus on the most effective interventions.

However, these steps are only effective if backed by adequate funding, which brings us to the crucial aspect of our model we want to explore in this post: giving together. Pooling our resources maximizes impact, strengthens accountability, and creates a strong, supportive community.

The Benefits of Collective Giving

The concept of pooled giving is simple but extraordinarily powerful. By combining individual contributions, we can create a fund that wields significant influence and achieves substantial impact. At All Access, we manage this pool through a meticulously curated portfolio, actively monitoring and adjusting our strategy to ensure every dollar makes the greatest difference.

Giving together enhances our ability to hold partner organizations accountable. As single donor may struggle to ensure organizations are doing what they say the will do, but with pooled resources, we have the leverage to require these organizations to deliver measurable results. This collective strength means that when we contribute, we aren't just passively donating, but actively participating in a strategy designed to create tangible, lasting change.

Transparency is another cornerstone of our model. All Access provides quarterly reports, detailing how funds are used and the impacts they achieve. This real-time accountability ensures that every member knows precisely where their contributions are going and the difference they are making.

The Joy of Collaborative Giving

One of the most enriching aspects of All Access’s pooled giving strategy is the camaraderie it fosters. Not only do our members get to see the profound impact of their contributions, but they also experience the joy of working alongside friends, family, and like-minded individuals.

This community aspect was evident from the very start. A few years ago, a small group of friends and family pooled a modest $20,000. This initial fund supported programs in South Asia that resulted in the planting of 243 new churches among 97 unreached people groups and 1,500 new believers. Achieving these outcomes at such a low cost provided compelling proof of the efficiency and effectiveness of our collaborative approach. What started as a small group effort has now expanded into a robust network of members across the United States.

Today, whether you're in Orlando, South Dakota, California, South Carolina, Dallas, or Houston, being part of All Access connects you to a vast, supportive network committed to making a difference. This sense of belonging to a larger mission is fulfilling and energizes our collective efforts.

The Exponential Growth of Our Impact

The potential for growth within our pooled giving model is nothing short of incredible. Picture this: one member contributes $500 a month and invites a friend to join. If each friend continues this cycle, inviting another every month, the result is exponential growth in both membership and contributions.

We calculated that traditional fundraising methods for similar outcomes could have cost a whopping $90 million. By integrating the simple act of inviting friends into our strategy, we drastically reduce these costs and channel more funds directly into impactful programs. For instance, if each member, like Sally, giving $100 a month, dedicates one Friday a month to inviting a friend, our reach and impact could expand dramatically. Over several years, this simple approach could culminate in raising millions in contributions, while each member is still only giving a modest amount monthly.

By taking on the responsibility of inviting others, members help eliminate the need for expensive and time-consuming fundraising campaigns. This grassroots approach to growth keeps our administrative costs low and ensures that all contributions to the fund go directly to the programs we support.

The Structure and Impact of Pooled Giving

The structure of our pooled giving model is designed for maximum efficiency. Members can contribute to the fund as a whole, which is then quarterly distributed to our portfolio partners. Alternatively, members may also choose to support specific organizations within our portfolio directly. Regardless of the method, the power of pooled giving ensures that contributions are strategically deployed for the greatest impact.

Creating a Connected Community

At All Access, fostering a connected community is an ongoing effort. We continually try to enhance the member experience through interactive platforms like Slack channels and regional gatherings. Our goal is to make it easy and enjoyable for members to invite others and experience the joy of collective philanthropy.

One of the most exciting aspects of our community is the regional meet-ups that organically occur. Members in locations like Atlanta, Dallas, and Houston often organize lunches or casual gatherings. These events foster deep connections, shared experiences, and lasting friendships.

Our Slack channels offer real-time interaction and a space for members to share updates, successes, and ideas.

Feedback from our members is vital. We're always open to insights on how we can improve and better foster community engagement. These suggestions help us create a supportive network where everyone feels valued and integral to our mission.

Encouraging Member Participation

We constantly encourage members to actively participate in growing our community. Simply sharing their experiences with friends and family can make a significant difference. The more people we invite to join us, the greater our collective impact becomes.

Imagine the ripple effect when each member commits to inviting even one friend. This small act, repeated across our community, yields significant results. When individuals feel part of something meaningful, they naturally want to share that experience with others.

We've created resources and tools to help members share our mission effectively. Whether through social media, community events, or one-on-one conversations, every invitation contributes to our shared goal of making a substantial, lasting impact.

Conclusion

Joining All Access means becoming part of a movement dedicated to creating real, lasting change. By giving together, we amplify our impact, enable accountability, and build a community of like-minded individuals committed to bettering the world. The strength of our pooled giving model lies in its simplicity, transparency, and potential for exponential growth.

Imagine being part of a community where every dollar you contribute is multiplied by thousands of others, where every action you take contributes to a larger mission to provide spiritual and physical well-being to the most impoverished regions of the world. This collective strength is the heart of All Access.

Our members have firsthand experience of what we can achieve together. From planting hundreds of churches to bringing clean water to thousands, the results speak volumes. The journey is deeply rewarding, and the sense of community is incredibly fulfilling.
