At All Access, we prioritize finding the most effective programs to address the world's most urgent needs. Evaluating organizations is a critical third step in our six-step strategy. It follows data analysis and expert consultation, ensuring we have a solid understanding of the most pressing issues and the best interventions.

Our evaluation process is thorough and methodical. Rather than making superficial judgments, we dive deep to understand which organizations are best equipped to execute the necessary interventions. Think of it as hiring vendors to address specific problems effectively and sustainably.

Initial Screening

Every year, we start fresh. We gather data on the most unreached and impoverished places, consulting experts to identify effective interventions. Once we have this information, we turn our focus to finding organizations that align with our criteria.

We maintain an extensive database, currently holding over 1,200 organizations, which we continuously update. By scraping various databases and consulting experts, we ensure we cover all bases. We then reach out to these organizations to evaluate their capabilities in addressing specific issues in targeted locations.

Detailed Evaluation Criteria

When an organization shows potential, we delve into a comprehensive evaluation. This involves:

  • Impact Assessment: We require detailed information on their impact, including past achievements and projected outcomes. How many people can they help? What kind of change can they bring about?
  • Financial Transparency: We scrutinize their financial health, including budget scrutiny and 990 forms. We need to understand what our funds will accomplish—every dollar needs to have a concrete impact.
  • Operational Details: We ask for specifics. For instance, if we provide $50,000, how will it be used? Will it employ individuals, purchase equipment, or cover operational costs? Understanding these details helps us ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of our investments.

Ranking and Selection

Once we gather all the necessary data, we rank organizations based on their cost-effectiveness and their potential to move the needle in the identified areas.

By analyzing the cost per outcome and comparing it across organizations, we ensure we select the most impactful programs. This objective approach means that anyone who follows our strategy would likely choose the same organizations—we aim to remove subjectivity from the process as much as possible.

Verification and Agreements

After narrowing down our choices, we conduct background checks, including leadership assessment and secondary verification. It's not just about having a good budget or impressive past achievements—organizations must demonstrate their reliability and effectiveness in real terms.

We go a step further by partnering with independent parties to verify on-the-ground activities. This network of verifiers ensures transparency and authenticity—no "briefcase organizations" that only exist as a website online.

Additionally, we sign Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with our portfolio partners. These agreements specify how funds should be used and outline the reporting requirements, guaranteeing accountability and transparency.

Elevating the Sector

Our evaluation model not only benefits All Access members by ensuring their contributions are optimized, but it also raises the standard for all charitable organizations. By demanding effectiveness, we encourage organizations to focus on genuine impact rather than merely appealing marketing.

Imagine a world where the market demands genuine impact—organizations competing to be the most effective rather than the most attractive. This shift could revolutionize how we approach philanthropy, driving real, measurable change.

Conclusion

Our rigorous evaluation process is designed to maximize the impact of every contribution to the All Access Fund. By meticulously screening, ranking, and verifying organizations, we ensure that our members' contributions are optimally utilized. Together, we empower people globally with access to the Gospel and essential means of physical well-being. Join us in this mission—let's make a difference that counts.
